classicising body with fine, wide gilt rims, colourfully-painted strewn flowers, surmounted by 2 doves billing and cooing on a garland of roses, 4 acanthus vases, to obverse colourful garland of roses, clock with yellow metal mounts, gilt numerals and hands on white enamel face, flanked by laurel branches tied with a pink ribbon, to one side green laurel festoons, a seated Cupid with quiver and bow, holding a torch in his hands, rectangular base with light purple chain relief, green leaf décor and 4 small ball feet, height 31 cm, length 26 cm, pendulum available, hairline crack to face, Meissen, underglaze blue sword mark, 1st half of 19th cent., model no. F 36, former no. 143, painter no. 28, model by Michael Victor Acier 1775–1779 (Ru)
