Anton Schaller, Vienna 1773–1844, undertook his training under Hagenauer and at the Viennese Manufactory under Schulz, then ornamental sculpture at the Viennese Academy and from 1801 active as a figure painter, corrector at the Imperial and Royal Academy of Fine Arts, School of Historic Elementary Drawing; from 1821 onwards, tutor in anatomy at the Viennese Academy and painting on porcelain platters;
