Made in the 19th century, modelled after the historical styles. A walnut chest richly decorated with figural intarsia using engraved ivory, depicting various hunting scenes. The chest has a pronounced bombé form, with carved horizontal strips and edges. The ivory is covered by the endangered species legislation. Approx. 92 x 118 x 50 cm. Some ageing. (PZ)
