Made in the 19th century, modelled after the Venetian furniture of the Baroque period. Of rich serpentine form and bombé shaping, in softwood, with floral carved ornament, floral painting with bird motifs on a rust red ground, gold painted elements, three similarly painted interior drawers and a later stone top. 81.5 x 90.5 x 45.5 cm.
