Known as a “Poudreuse”, South Germany circa 1800. Veneered mostly in plum, with marquetry panels in walnut, maple and stained pearwood, with a three-part hinged top with interior mirror, two sham drawers, three drawers and a leather-lined writing surface. 77.5x 80 x 51 cm. Restored condition, one veneer part of the writing surface missing. (PZ)
