Originally 18th century. A three-part spruce bureau with walnut veneer, decorated with marquetry panels and cube patterning in various fine woods. The lower section has three drawers with serpentine fronts; the writing section has two drawers and a fall-front writing surface; the upper section has seven drawers, and one door and an interior central niche. 187.5 x 131 x 67 cm. Some later veneering in the course of a restoration, some parts replaced. (MIN)
