Splendid mirror frame in the Italian Renaissance style,
Composed of old elements and assembled presumably in the late 19th or early 20th century. An opulent frame carved with bearded caryatids, angel heads, scrolls and floral festoons, as well as a coat of arms, painted gold and partly bronzed. Outer measurements 94 x 119 cm, inside measurements 49 x 78.5 cm. Some ageing, with a fine patina, the paintwork partly flaked. (PZ) Prov.: Austrian private collection.
