Upper Austrian rustic cabinet,
"Meister der Blumengesichter", Gunskirchen dated 1779. A pine cabinet with removable moulded cornice, two doors with depictions of the Madonna of Mercy also with vases of flowers and medallions with the typical flowers with faces ("Blumengesichtern"), the angles with depictions of courtly beaux, the sides with faux-veneer painting using comb and stipple technique. 186 x 170 x 74 cm. Original condition, with only parts of the cornice replaced, some ageing. (DOC)
