this carpet is based on an aerial view of the chinese province yunnan. it represents one most complex and impressing forms human shaped landscape, rice paddies asia. rug image stepped down terraces in hills yunnan that form a network irrigated fields. simple principle, follow height lines mountains valleys, thus creating impressive visually striking look. made series connected fluid earthen pathways rise slightly above crops different stages growth contrast with colours crop vary from blue red to dark lush greens.
