Southwest Persia (Iran), c. 295 (305) x 204 cm, end of the 19th century, an extremely rare tribal carpet with alternating rows of blossoming trees and a central square containing a rhomb medallion with long arms alongside - connected with two bars, the sidelong main borders are filled with blossoms and representations of birds, consistently full pile of velvety soft wool quality, both woven finishes still preserved, only minimal damages to fringes and edges, top condition.
