Northwest Persia (Iran), c. 262 x 114 cm, second half of the 19th century, slanting striped pattern in alternating colours with swastika forms in the central field, with archaic border design, harmonious colours and a hard, dry carpet backing, this piece constitutes a very early specimen, both ends and shirazi replaced, low pile due to age.
