Pair of outstanding and rare Neo-Classical console tables,
With sliding tops and sunken shelves, probably England, 1st half of the 19th century. Made in mahogany with bronze mounts and ebonised mouldings, caryatid supports, mirror back panels, each with three drawers, marble tops arranged in panels and lateral sliding compartments. 93 x 144 x 57 cm. Some ageing, with a fine patina. (PZ)
