Demi-lune salon chest of drawers,
France 2nd half of the 18th century. Made in oak with tulipwood and amaranth veneer and marquetry ornament and depictions of vases and musical instruments in various partly dyed fine woods, with three drawers, two doors, stamped right back "J. F. GRIFFET" (Jean-Francois Griffet, maître from 1779), a shaped marble top (Gris de St. Anne), gilt bronze mounts and two keys. 85 x 131 x 57 cm. In cared-for restored condition. (MIN)
