Baroque cabinet on chest,
Workshop of Stefan Jegg (1673 - 1749) mid 18th century. Made in softwood and veneered mostly in walnut, with a serpentine front, decorated with marquetry panels and bands in further fine woods. The three-drawer lower section has lavish marquetry on the top and restored bronze mounts. The upper section has scrolled sides, various drawers and a niche door with central locking. 190 x 139 x 68 cm. With parts replaced or restored and with some ageing and wear. (DOC)
