Raimondo (Ramon) Tusquets y Maignon was a painter from Barcelona, who was active in the circle of Catalan artists in Rome. His work combines Spanish and Italian elements, particularly from the Neapolitan Scuola die Portici. He preferred to paint oriental, history and genre scenes from the Roman Campagna. He exhibited regularly in the later decades of the 19th century. He also succeeded in exhibiting in Naples, Vienna and Paris.
