c. 305 x 125 cm, Southeast Caucasus, about 1890, this group belonging to the Talish carpets is very hard to find, these pieces are characterised mostly by red octagons surrounded by white contour stripes, even older are the diagonal animal fur motifs, named after Schürmann, in fine steel blue, upper end reduced and very low pile in the upper section, brown heavily oxidised.
