Baluch bag face,
Northeast Persia (Iran), c. 56 x 73 cm, beginning of the 20th century, knotted bag face of a former khordjin with the typical colours of the Khorasan region, knotwork with mythological bird patterns are much sought-after collector’s pieces, this item depicts three rows of three animals, some of which are crowned, the groups in each row facing in opposite directions, this “bird bag” also displays a white animal at its centre, good pile with slight end and edge damage.
