Neo-Classical revival, last quarter of the 19th century. Made in solid wood, painted gold and alabaster, the octagonal base with finely carved parnassus grass and laurel leaf mouldings, the tapering shaft in the form of a wheat sheaf and with a round top. Height : 126 cm. Some ageing, the paintwork partly flaked. (PZ)
