Karachov,
Southwest Caucasus, c. 226 x 158 cm, first half of the 19th century, on rare blue ground, with archaic pattern, this piece is a very early kazak of the Karachov group with central octagon, noteworthy are the four red cartouches accompanying the octagon above and below, where the highly stylised animal abstractions are located, also worth mentioning is the clear drawing with the sober decoration of earlier pieces and the beautiful variant of the oak leaf border, still good pile with some low areas, brown heavily corroded, repairs due to age with a sewn vertical tear on both ends, both ends only partially preserved, side edges rebound.
