nickel-plated steel and glass construction, No. 4 from the limited edition of 8 + 2, height approx. 43 cm, diameter approx. 100 cm. The table exists in two variants, the present example being the smaller of the two versions. (MHA)
The design of the Villarceau table is based on a particular geometric property discovered by the French astronomer Yvon Villarceau. The idea plays with the marriage of mathematical laws and scholarly insights gained in the field of aesthetics. With original certificate. This model was exhibited in 2016 at the Collective Design Fair in New York, at the Ventura Lambrate (Milan Design Week), and at the Wexler Gallery in Philadelphia. In 2017, it was presented at the ICFF in New York.
