A female herm from the façade of the former Heinrichshof,
Vienna 1861 - 1863, terracotta, consisting of 4 sections, loose, unrestored state, age damage, approx. 25 cm were cut from the pedestal section of the pilaster and are now missing, full height 254 cm, (MC)
The herm comes from Heinrichshof, constructed in 1861 - 63 by Theophil von Hansen. The house was badly damaged during the war, and was demolished in 1954. The commissioning patron for Heinrichshof was Heinrich Drasche von Wartinberg, whose Viennaerberger terracotta and majolica works manufactured the herm. It was featured in the sample catalogue as early as 1858.
