The work is from the author’s studio.
After studying at the Glassmaking Secondary School in Kamenický Šenov, he went on to study at the AAAD in Prague in prof. Jan Hendrych’s sculpture studio, graduating in 2007. He works with panel glass and creates fused sculptures. His sculptor’s sensitivity and unusual approach to glass is evident in both.
The Jump sculpture on offer is from a series of four fused circular sculptures. The work represents an ancient creature that has been preserved for us for many years inside a safe and peaceful ice kingdom. The creature found itself in an unknown present through some kind of symbolic jump.
