designed by Hermann John Hagemann, Vienna, 1930/31, manufactured by Thonet Mundus, Vienna, c. 1932, chromium plated tubular steel, veneered and varnished block board, lacquered beech, exterior lacquer coating in the Thonet colours no. 101 (lacquer red) and no. 114 (salmon), original key with Thonet signet for the central door, the two keys for the left and right doors replaced, fitted interior, the left side with chromium plated hanger suspension and two shelves at the top, the central part with two shelves, six English-style drawers, and a sliding tray for shoes, the right side with chromium plated hanger suspension and a sliding tray for shoes, with Thonet factory label inscribed in pencil: B 101, height 180 cm, width 180 cm, depth 60 cm. In 1932, Hermann John Hagemann used pieces of furniture after his own designs from the Thonet Mundus programme for furnishing House No. 28 by André Lurcat in the Werkbund Housing Estate in Vienna.
