This Etruscan Chair is the final form of Lane"™s seminal 1980s glass chair. The earliest examples were made of mild steel and various fabricated components. This chair with it"™s forged stainless steel legs and stiletto heel tips is the refined result of Lane"™s studio design process. This seminal work combines poetic meaning and function a characteristic Lane"™s early anthropomorphic assemblages. Each chair is cut by Lane and the standardized components are adapted to suit.
