“Fortuna”, female personification, porcelain, polychromed and gilt, the semi-unclad goddess hovering above a globe, with long blond hair and wearing a rose wreath, light purple draped cloth with silver belt, green gemstones with white string of pearls, holding a cornucopia in both hands, pouring forth flowers, silver- and gold coins, white and gilt strings of pearls, corals, shells, and gold items, to one side a cupid holding a crown in the left hand and a laurel wreath in the right hand, the round base with leaves, green leafy branches with pink and light blue blossoms, a scroll bearing the gilt inscription “Fortuna”, the defined base with narrow and wide gilt edging, height: 62 cm, verso cloth tip with small firing crack painted in light purple, one side inscribed H. Schwabe 1883;

Fortuna, Roman goddess of fate and fortune, Greek Tyche, commonly attributed with wheel of fortune, cornucopia, steering wheel, and wings;

“Friede”, male personification,
porcelain, polychromed and gilt, the semi-unclad youth hovering above a cloud base, a light blue cloth wrapped around his body, wearing a laurel wreath and in his left hand, an amorette with flowers and bow in her hair, clad in a purple cloth with gold clasp, a fluttering dove pressed to her cheek, the round base with green laurel branches, a gilt scroll with bearing the gilt inscription “Friede”, the defined base with narrow and wide gilt edging, height: 60 cm, verso cloth tip with small firing crack painted in light blue, minor restorations, inscribed H. Schwabe 1883;
