Chest of drawers in Transition revival style,
End of the 19th century. Made in oak with mahogany and tulipwood veneer, richly decorated with marquetry panels and flowers in various partly dyed fine woods, with a polished finish, 3 “sans traverse” drawers, with a break front and bombé shaping, finely chased bronze doré mounts and a moulded marble top (Breche d'Alep). Stamped on the back left support E. ROUDILLON (Etienne-Simon-Eugene Roudillon 1820-1891). Ca. 85.5 x 117.5 x 58 cm. In fine restored condition. (MIN)
