manufactured by the Collevilaca glass house, hand-blown heavy-weight crystalline glass with a lead oxide content of more than 24%, signed, three vases from the Tribute to Gio Ponti series, which besides the present vases also comprised a flatter vase and a glass bowl, each of which was limited to an edition of six, so that the series comprised altogether 18 objects, each height approx. 39.5 cm, width approx. 11 cm, depth approx. 11 cm. Caterina Licitra Ponti is the great-granddaughter of Gio Ponti and the granddaughter of Lisa Ponti, the firstborn daughter of most important collaborator of this famous architect.
