Upper Austrian rustic cabinet,
Known as a “Gmundner Polsterkasten”, originally 2nd quarter of the 19th century. A divisible spruce cabinet with wedge joints, richly painted with flowers in the typical style, as well as with birds and ornament, with 2 doors, dated 1832, with a restored moulded cornice, lock, key and pierced cresting. Ca. 190 x 150 x 65 cm. The paint reworked in the course of a restoration, and with some recent ageing and wear. (MIN)
