Northwest Persia (Iran), c. 192 x 137 cm, about 1900, in rare small format and beautiful medallion design, this piece is slightly used with minimal signs of age in the pile wool, both finishes original, side edges newly overcast, the marked blue abrash to the upper end displays a muted colour and should not worry, a special feature is the central inscription cartouche.
