Probably Southern Tyrol, late 16th/17th century. A moulded softwood frame carved with wave ornament, partly painted black and gold, and with a coat of arms (Tyrolean eagle flanked by lions) inscribed A. M. D. G. And ATAVIS ET PALMIS, Ca.142 x 116 cm. Some ageing and wear. (MIN)
