North India, c. 319 x 151 cm, about 1830, very early precious textile made from the feather-light wool of the Kashmir goats, woven in large format with multicoloured warp threads in classic boteh design and beige monochromatic ground, in exceptionally good state of preservation with original finishes and side edges.
