Northwest Persia (Iran), c. 376 x 248 cm, end of the 20th century, medallion carpet of the finest, modern Persian colour and knotting quality with complex design by the well-known carpet designer "Tarhe Benam", the warp threads and many details of the pattern are executed in silk, finest wool quality, brocaded ends, with multiple signatures: "Iran Tabriz, Tarhe Benam, Bafte Sardar Azimzadeh", with 1.2 million knots per sq m; condition as new.
