Bokhara Suzani,
Southwestern Uzbekistan, c. 240 x 159 cm, mid-19th century, charming five-part Suzani on patinated light-brown cotton foundation with silk embroidery, this piece is in very good condition without any appreciable signs of wear to the pattern and without the otherwise typical staining, some minor losses to the ground are only discernible at close inspection, the underside is lined entirely with linen, with additional border on the back on all sides - in superb condition, a Velcro strip for mounting on one long side and one short side.
