Object Meeting

Lukáš Jabůrek first studied at the Glassmaking Secondary School and, later, college in Nový Bor, where he graduated in 2006. He currently works as the artistic director of the Moser Glassworks and is the curator of the Moser Art Gallery Prague.
The author first used the motif of small birds last year at the IGS in Nový Bor, where he created a large bush with birds and a bird house entitled “Birdbrained.” Inspired by this work, which was primarily meant as a joke and exaggeration, the author created a “subtle bush” for this auction. A large object became a personal artefact. From the original exaggeration, the tree is a symbol of friendship and dialog. Therefore, Lukáš Jabůrek called this object Meeting.
