A desk and ‘Bocconi’ chair, designed by Guiseppe Pagano Pogatschnig c. 1939,
for Gino Maggioni, Varedo, partially black lacquered laminated wood construction, the desk constructed as an elm veneered wooden box with aluminium handles and loosely attached glass top, the chair inscribed: XXVI, chair: height approx. 82 cm, width approx. 40 cm, depth approx. 50 cm; desk: height approx. 79 cm, width approx. 150 cm, depth approx. 79 cm. The chair was originally designed for the Universitá Bocconi in Milan. It was only used there and never went into series production.
