Uzbekistan, c. 262 x 163 cm, mid-19th century, silk embroidery on six-panel ground, suzanis with gable-shaped central field are called “ruijo”, they constituted a fixed part of the dowry and were used as bedspreads to cover the bed of the bridal couple, in good state of preservation with a few minor repairs in the monochrome field, slight edge damage, trimmed with ikat and backed with silk fabric.
