Design by Theophil Hansen for the stock exchange, circa 1875/80. A serpentine carved walnut chair, with ornament, lion heads and paws, with turned legs and on casters. With a label on the underside of the frieze: Wiener Börsekammer and with an inventory number. With upholstered seat, backrest and armrests, with restored leather covers. Some minor ageing and wear and with a fine patina. (MIN)
