Neo-Gothic coffer,
Made in a modified Gothic style in the mid-19th century. A hardwood coffer, the front carved with profile portraits in high relief, also decorated with tracery on all sides. The restored lid is from the same period and is decorated with an eagle motif and tracery. With lateral handles. Ca. 49 x 130 x 57 cm. Some wood losses, and some heavy ageing and wear. (DOC)
