Northeast Persia (Iran), c. 60 (71) x 47 cm, first half of the 20th century, knotted facing side in silky wool quality with woven finishes on both sides and some pattern details brocaded with metal threads; balisht bags would have a woven back part and be used by nomadic Baluch tribes as small storage bags; in excellent condition, woven back no longer preserved.
