Unusual pair of chests of drawers,
Made in a modified Baroque style, known as AachenLütticher Möbel (furniture style of the Aachen- Liège region) 19th century. Solid oak chests of drawers with a brown finish, with a heavy bombé form, carved with rocaille ornament and flowers, each with 2 drawers and moulded marble tops (one with a glued break line). Ca. 94 x 143 x 61 cm. Some traces of ageing and wear. (DOC)
