glass, colourless, flat sides with round, octagonal edge of opening and fused collar, eight concave discs, cut arch segments with eight concave discs, sides with foliate border and foliate tendrils, foliate décor and strapwork as well as birds with fluttering wings, front with seated Chinese man in conversation with kneeling merchant, he is holding a musical instrument in his left hand and indicating the table with money with his right hand, reverse side features two seated Chinese men in conversation, narrow sides with flower vases, pitchers and jugs, all painted in schwarzlot with gold heightening, base with sphere to base and similar décor, height 13 cm, Ignaz Preissler, Breslau, 1725-1730, the Chinese style décors follow a French model, Erasmus Hornick engraved the models (Ru)
