a personification of the Russian river Dnjepr in the shape of a river deity, an old bearded man dressed in a purple loincloth and a wreath of reed leaves on the head, sitting on a rocky plinth, holding a cornucopia with flowers, jewellery and coins in his right hand, underneath that gold and silver coins bearing the Saxon-Polish coat of arms, shells, ears of corn and foliate application, in his left hand he is holding a sceptre, an oar with gold-framed coat of arms cartouche, golden crown and golden ligated monogram, resting on an amphora that is lying, with elector's head, Saxon-Polish and other coats of arms, from which and from the rocky plinth water is flowing with fish, various shells and snail-houses, on the left side reed leaves with umbels, porcelain, colour and gold painted, plinth with gold edges, golden bands with light purple cross bands and golden meander frieze, height 32 cm, length 34 cm, oar included, Meißen, underglaze blue sword mark, second half of the nineteenth century, model number 1952, former number 163, model by Johann Joachim Kändler 1739 (Ru)
