An ensemble of standardised “Frankfurt Kitchen” furniture elements”, designed by Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky
1926, for Grumbach, Frankfurt (attributed), for the Frankfurt Hochbauamt. Height c. 215 cm. Blue-grey lacquered softwood frame construction, various types of wood chosen according to functional criteria (such as oak wood against mealworms, beech for the countertop, softwood for the frame), with reconstructed original blue lacquer coating and partly restored with cast iron double sink, all cupboards, countertop, and aluminium and wood containers.
