An early model. Designed for the SAS Royal Hotels in Copenhagen, which were built by Arne Jacobsen between 1956 and 1960.
Lit.:
C. Thau - K. Vindum, Arne Jacobsen, Copenhagen. The version without seat cushion was only produced until about 1968. The shape of this early model is slightly more curved than that of the later “Egg” chairs.
