Austria mid-18th century, demountable spruce frame with wedge joints, walnut veneer, marquetried with diverse precious woods including plumwood, maplewood and partly engraved woods in the form of panels, floral, ornamental and figural motifs, pilasters at the angles and bandings with carved and gilt capitals, 2 doors, richly moulded prominent wreath with carved and gilt openwork detachable top, protruding base, original lock, lined, interior compartments, 260 x 205 x 82 cm, well-kept condition with minor signs of age and use, small parts missing.
