second half of the 18th century, two-piece pinewood frame with pearwood and birch burlwood veneer as well as marquetry panels, the front with 4 drawers in total, slanted fall-front writing surface with two extensible supports, 1 door, moulded and partly walnut veneered cornice with prominent middle section, enclosing a fitted interior with open compartments and a total of 7 interior drawers, brass fittings, 195 x 88 x 49 cm. Well-kept condition with minor signs of age and use, loose contour strip is enclosed. (MIN)
