Two Baroque female saints, probably Barbara and Catherine,
Upper Austria, c. 1700, carved lime wood, hollowed out on the back, monochrome painted and gilt, height 110 cm, age-related damage, some parts missing, (MC)
Although the two sculptures originate from the same altar context (according to oral tradition, from the Walchen castle chapel), it is evident that two different sculptors created them.
