Northwest India, c. 318 x 144 cm, mid-19th century, very large shawl in Bobinet technique, woven in separate parts and sewn together in a manner typical of this region, backed with fabric, at top with loops for hanging, delicate boteh pattern with plain rectangular central field and characteristic harlequin hems at the finishes, a few minor holes, overall good condition.
