West Anatolia (Turkey), c. 156 x 120 cm, late 18th century, rare, light-ground prayer rug with two columns and five flowers at the end of the field, worth mentioning are the two “C” gül filled ornaments in the hand position, which could symbolise pomegranates, also unusual is the graphically executed main border; lower end with short woven finish, trimmed short at the top and at the long sides, low pile condition.
