In the Albertina sheet (cat. no. 2617, plate p. 115), in which the inner drawings and contours are inseparably connected with each other, the curls and ripples with their rhythmic vibrations have taken over the entire structure of the figure, giving it a three-dimensional quality, like a column in an ideal space
